anyone listen to Image dynamics sub 12" ctx124

********* has a listing in their sale/blowout section with their double cab sub box loaded with Image dynamic CTX124 12" sub. it states it only needs 200rms and that would be perfect with my 4 channel amp. Searched this sub and no info found. Opinions please..

I have an image dynamic 10 in my truck and the thing is freaking awesome. Sounds great at low power - works with all kinds of music. The people where I got mine installed called it a "musical" sub and it really is. When I want to make it loud I cant even get it to 50% of its potential before my eyes are literally shaking in my head. Image dynamics are a great sub and since they do not carry the same brand recognition of other companies yet, they are very well priced.

 

THe CTX is more SPL oriented off limited power and less SQ oriented. If your not looking for the best quality but rather a loud woofer as an alternative to Kicker (the king of loud with reduced quality) then you will be happy. If you think its going to be able to be an alternative to a sound quality woofer you may be disappointed.

That answered all my questions. Yeah, looking for more SQ. i don't really want to run 2 amps (thought was an easy way out)
