Anyone make a skid plate that has holes in it to release mud? 1st Generation Only

    My 1998 Trd has a bent front factory skid plate (under the engine and radiator). The skid plate is hard to remove for any maintenance. I wanted to see what my options were on skid plates because the few I have seen aftermarket looks like they would hold a lot of mud.

    So what is the easiest to install skid plate that has holes?

    What skid plate do you suggest? I don't mind paying extra money but, I would like the easiest to install.

    SkidRow skids have some holes. More than the Budbuilt.

    I run Bud Builts, but have heard good things about skid row to. Whichever one you do decide to purchase, make sure to beef it up before you bend it out of shape on the trail. Just makes life much easier.

    If you have a skid plate with enough holes large enough for thick mud to just "fall out", you might as well not have a skid plate, IMO. There would be more "hole" than "skid plate"...

    Like others have said, just get up under there with a hose/power washer.
