    Looks like it worked like a champ. Can’t wait until I get one.

    @Puppypunter
    Would something like this, also be readily available, for adding (more) reverse lights under the rear bumper?
    I come from the 1st gen era, so I don't know if I would "need" two taps.

    Special request: 2nd gen inline 7-pin to 4-pin tap.

    I'd like to unplug the OEM 7-pin connector and insert a short harness with the same waterproof connectors that have the correct 4 wires coming off so I can terminate these to a 4-pin connector for a 3rd brake light I have mounted on my bike rack.

    That is doable. I do not know much about 2nd gens, but @caribe makaira has god-like knowledge and might be able to tell me more about that connector

    The third gens have 2 different taps for reverse and brake. That said, we could figure something out easy enough :)

    Maybe this. @JasonLee, you could carefully remove the connectors to read the correct part numbers on them.

    Awesome! Thanks! You rock, as always :thumbsup:

    @JasonLee I believe what you are looking for is doable. A quick search reveals that I need to search more though :p

    Sounds good. I could dig this all up on my own, but I don't currently have a source for the terminals, so I'm being lazy on making my own :D

    How many inputs does the added Bike rack lamp have?

    I just have a LED light bar that I wired up with standard wiring to a 4-pin trailer harness to plug into my 1st gen. Now that I have a 2nd gen, it only has a 7-pin and a 7-to-4 adapter would ruin my ground clearance with the 7-pin relocated up behind the hitch.
