anyone not running fender flares?

just wondering if anyone has pulled the stock fender flares off of their truck and is just running wihtout any? i think nwitaco dosnt have any if i spelled his name right. but id like to see some others if anyone has pics im thinking about pulling mine off when i get my lift done


also will be building a flatbed on the back soon after lift

 

haha think im crazy for wanitn to do it? i jsut dont see the point they will be torn up on trails and i like the rough look anyways idk why girlfriend thinks im crazy too....

 

but here is my bed with the fenders off. (but they were only off because i was putting fender flares on.. haha)

if you do take them off and dont want them. you can sell them on craigslist pretty easy. i sold the black fender flares from my old fenders on craigslist really fast.

 

there are a few people who have the off on their bedsides to clear larger tires.

Do the bushwhacker flares add more clearance for larger tires? If you search out Homer Taco he has a thread where he altered the flares with some cutting in order to run more clearance. I have seen a lot of pictures on here with trucks running no flares. I don't like that look personally.

They add an inch of clearance i think. At least the cut out flares do

here's mine without front flares....
I mainly did it to see the damage to one of them after going to pismo on my new 35's

Then I got lazy, and possibly lost the clips by now (

 

No flares

 

im really diggin the look with no flares i really might do it once i get my lift on and wheels and tires.

 

i think you should do it. i like the look better. but it will probably take a week to get used to on your own truck.

 

yea im thinking so too..when i first saw a truck on here i was hating it but then it grew on me an now im wanting to do it to mine haha... its crazy how things change. i even like the holes it leaves...
