Anyone play Everquest?

I don't play the game but have an uncle who does. Was looking to get him one of those SOE All-in-one cards that (if I'm reading correctly) can be redeemed for in game cash. Looking for insight from someone who may have used one in the past. Is the price worth it & does it give a decent amount of in game currency?
