anyone play the lottery?

wondering if anyone plays the lottery. I think im gonna start buying a couple powerball tickets a week. They are only 1 dollar.

 

I thought about the scratchers. One of the janitors that worked at my work would spend his whole paycheck on them and everytime he would atleast double his paycheck.

 

No, But I want to. I just never carry cash on me to get one.

But if I won the lotto, I'd buy a nice ranch in Oklahoma, Get a new ford Powerstroke, And a Taco just like mine but with a 4.0 and Timberland Mica. and a 370z

100+ cows few horses, and a big O' tractor.

Also a beach house in Padre island...

Yea he bought them at Albertsons, but i just dont have the balls to spend a whole paycheck on scratchers. Though he did quit working there after he won 15k on a scratcher.

 

haha ya i prolly wouldnt do a whole paycheck on scratchers. I think im gonna play the powerball more often now tho. The tickets are only 1 dollar each, and the drawing is 2 times a week. So i went and got 10 cards today. I know I know, i prolly wont win anything, but i can have my dreams.

If i won a ton of money, id pay off all my bills, Buy my dad a house, pay my grandparents house off, And buy myself and my fiance a house. Then be real generous with the rest of it.

 

Like make a TW lotto.

 

Funny I just bought a $5 quickpick for the superlotto today. It's been a few months since I've played but I fig'd wth. Beer's on me if I win

 

I buy a buck or two of tickets with my morning coffee when the jackpot gets really big. I consider it throwing my money away, but I enjoy bitching about always losing.

....I play mega millions a couple times a month

 

$10 dollars a week on powerball. $5 for wed. and $5 for sat.

 

I used to only play Powerball when it would get obnoxiously high, like over 200 million. Now since being laid off, I play it every drawing lol. Also started playing Mega Millions since we got that in PA now. The way I look at is while the chances are almost 0 of winning, however the people that have won were probably sitting there saying the same thing too. What's a few bucks a week to potentially set yourself up financially for the rest of your life.

I wouldn't go nuts. I'd keep the Taco, buy a "fun" car of some sort and build a house. And pick up a nice 20' - 23' center console boat. I'd be happy with that.
