Bought my truck after finding an insane deal on it about 3 years ago before the surge of inflated prices. But anyways, it’s an awesome truck with a whole lot of goodies. Total chaos +2 kit (and all the supporting things for it) king coilovers, fiberglass fenders and bedsides, prinsu rack, cab mount chop, ECGS dif bushing, archive u bolt flip and bump stops, and plenty more.

Really been contemplating selling for a 4 door. Right now it’s just my wife and I, no kids, and I rarely give people rides. But I’d like the option to be able to give our family members rides somewhere instead of us driving separate or me never driving my truck. But the other side of me doesn’t want to start over on the build I’ve done so far lol

Anyone else in the same boat?

I feel like I could get more than $20k for my truck and there’s a few 2021-22 4 door Off Roads in my area for $41-45k

    Mine is a 2005 with 230,457 and it's been mine. I don't regret a thing.

Never regretted it when I had it. I've had my new truck for only two weeks and already had to drive coworkers to lunch. It's easy to say no when you take out the useless rear jumpseats and can only take one extra person with you.

Not in the Tacoma. I carry a Four Wheeler around during Deer and Elk season in my bed. I couldn't fit that in a 4 door bed. I do have an F-150 Lariat 4 door but it doesn't offroad much.

I used to fit my 350 Grizzly in my DCSB. Great little fourwheeler that never made me wish for more and hauled it's share of moose and caribou despite being small.

My 500 Doesn't fit without having the tailgate down. The back tires sit on the gate.

Never have regretted having an Access Cab Taco.
Buy a used Corolla or better yet used Camry for wifee! $41K+ is a whole lot of scratch in my book for used vehicle.
It is nice to have two vehicles especially if it is an original owner 2004 Toyota Camry XLE V6

I was originally looking for a regular cab, but they're hard to come by so I settled on the access cab. I like the shorter wheelbase of the reg cab and I definitely don't need four doors. The access cab does come in handy.

I’m thinking in the opposite direction. Got the access cab, wish I had a single cab.

If you’re planning to one day have kids, I’d stick with what you have. Then by the time the family begins to outgrow the current vehicle, there’s a chance you would have saved some money to be able to buy something to suit your current needs.

Not to mention kids are expensive. If you want to be the cool dad who gets junior the gi joe with the kung fu grip instead of the regular gi joe, plan ahead.

Nope, I bought this for my son and he absolutely loves it. He used to drive a Jeep and now he says he will rock Toyota trucks now.

How often do you use the bed? I have a DCSB and so many times I wish I had either a long bed or an access cab. I've had passengers in the back less than a dozen times so I know I would've been fine with an access cab.

Wife’s got her own car! Just kinda wanted the option to take my truck instead of her car everywhere if we need to give others a lift

I often think about this when my fiancé and I talk about kids. I love my AC, I took out the bucket seats and built my own custom dog platform. Camper shell, complete with a sleeping set up in back. Its a bachelors vehicle, no doubt, but I fucking love it and also got it before the crazy price hikes we’ve all seen the last few years. I also have an older DCSB work truck. It’s just not the same. I would keep the AC all day over the 4 door.

I hate looking at the awkward 4 door monstrosity that is my truck. Wish i had an Aclb. The proportions are all off…
