Anyone Replace thier seats? Base to TRD

I found an 05 or so Tacoma in a junk yard and was interested in taking the seats. I would imagine it should be just that simple or am I mistaken. I am thinking just unplug the sensors, unbolt and put new in and plug them up.

 

I think so.... my dad replaced his f250 seat with a powered one, it was very easy, it should be like that for the tacoma

 

I am being optimistic. I noticed it late in the afternoon before I came to work on the 1st of the month. It is in Kaplan La. About 45 minutes south of Lafayette. When I go in I will check on it and see, I'll let you know if it is even still there.

 

i don't know about the seat question but was interested to know if it was a double cab or not. i really need to replace the storage bin behind the drivers side rear seat. the dealer wants $350 for it. let me know, please.

 

With any luck i'll be going home on thursday and I 'll check, I wanna say it was a double cab. I have been out here since the first so I don't know if the truck will even be there anymore, but I sure will let you guys know. If it isn't much to take it home, i'll just put it in the yard and gather all the peices we need and then return the skeleton. I'm a pro at junkyard shopping. Thats where I get all my chevelle parts.

 

I guess I was just lucky, we have alot of under age irrisponsible drivers back home so there is a nice vehicle or 2 that gets wrecked every now and again. Just gotta be there to take advantage. This one may be gone, but hopefully not. Looked like they may have taken the ditch and messed up the front end pretty good. But It was hard to tell at 40mph.

 

It took me a while but I finally got home. The junk yard was closed last night when I got in and also today. I did look around and don't see the truck anywheres. I'll call tomorrow but doubt they still have it. I'll keep my eyes peeled.
