debating between a 4” or 6”, with 33’s wrapped on 18’s. Anyone have this combo?

    Hey Glenn, welcome to Tacomaworld.

I recommend trying a search in the search bar for 6" lift. We get these kinds of questions almost daily.

A few OE parts from fancy trucks
    a 255 80 17 is a full 33"

On a proper OE wheel, it will fit your truck with no lift, rubbing, cutting or banging. Wheel wells look nice and full.

Yes, it's a narrower tire than the 285s folks clamor over. But depending on your terrain usage, that may be a good thing.

Point is a 33 on a 6" lift, combined with a small sidewall because of a larger wheel, is going to appear more toy like that functional. IMHO of course.

And when you go to 35" , you'll need to regear both axles to restore drivability.

And keep in mind that a 6" lift is generally a drop bracket. Meaning you cut up your chassis.

    Just food for thought.
