Anyone running a STS Rear Mount Turbo??

I dont know, but i like it!
I like the whistling, it sounds like my 250 with peterbuilt turbo

I deff. Would not go TRD S/C or any S/C for that matter, there better off the start but in no way any other way sorry just saying lol

That completely depends on wants/needs of the truck.

 

Im talking Id have this over any s/c in speed..... These things are crazy sick if you get the right setup Esp. STS rear mount

 

Maybe its because Im a diesel gooroo a little bit, I just like the STS over TRD S/C....

There are a few running around..most people get power hungry and end up doing a full custom set up..couple on CustomTacos that went from STS to front mount...mitzu is one of them.

 

If and When I get my another 1st gen. Im gonna do this over a S/C.... I just like the concept better and everyone always has a supercharger

 

Or just go 3rz and boost it..you'll be better off in the long run.

Go to CustomTacos..performance is the biggest talk over there on that forum..whether it's 2RZ to 3RZ to 5VZ to 1GRFE.
Especially 2RZ and 3RZ turbo setups..about 25 active members that are boosted on 2RZ/3RZ's.

 

Not really. Granted you'd have to change up the STS kit and make it a bit custom, but a properly sized turbo will give just as much bottom end as a SC will. And a Turbo will always give better top end then an SC.

Turbos are great really. You just have to know how to set them up right.


My dream is to Twin charge my truck...if i ever have 20k to blow..lol

 

Thank you for not hating on Turbo's lol everyone is always about S/C on here Im not hating on them there awesome but Id rather turbo, S/C can be a bit ricey also....
