Spent some time in that neck of the woods. Mark Twain has amazing outdoor rec. Don't do anything crazy with your truck on post though!

A back step for when I get older, N-fab step bars , Carhartt seatcovers, 4Runner wheels, Topper, and "tats all folks"! --for now!!
I thought the "official" Army name for that place was/is "Fort Lost-in-the Woods".
At least that is what all of us USAF guys were told!
Seriously -a nice scenic part of our great state -North east part of the Ozarks.
Thanks for serving our country -stay safe

Nope- always dodged that one but, as a retired 12Z, I had to do BNCOC and ANCOC there... I know, I know it’s ALC and SLC now...

Good man... I was a 12B for 15 years, at e8 you convert to 12Z. Thankfully it was all true 12B companies until I took over an HHC as my last assignment.

If you know anything about FLW, you would know the Crackle Barrel reference. Just saying that’s all.

Like I said, never stationed there. Just for schools and that was before Crackle Barrel existed there. Is that where you go after you’re done at Daisy’s? Not sure if that’s still an inside joke though.

Your right. Not much happening in the town. It was a big boost to the community when Crackle Barrel opened.

Yeah pretty sad when Rolla or Lebanon is the closest towns the next biggest size. Used to drive to Springfield to grab a decent coffee just for something to do.

I can imagine the excitement. I remember my last school there was a year or two after Walmart opened and people were still excited about that.
