Anyone use BG 44K Fuel System Cleaner?

    I'm not a snake oil fan, but will admit I gave this 44K thing a try 15 or so yrs. ago. Used a can of it in an early 90s German gas car.

    The car bucked and kicked like a mule after adding the product. What was left of that tank of gas eventually found it's way out the exhaust and that was the end of that.
    I suspected 44K broke a bunch of crap loose and hoped the car would run smother after consuming it.

    The product did nothing to smooth out the idle and overall performance which really were not bad to begin with.

    My bad for doing this and pretty much my only experiment with snake oil treatments.

    I use the 44k from BG, Its a great product! My truck is nearing 120k I use it every 30K
    I also way over service my truck but its worth it as its a big investment.

    Cool thanks for the info. I do the same. I haven't skipped any maintenance and I am at the same mileage as you on my 2013.
