My lights are roached and was thinking about these:

    https://tacomabeast.com/collections...lo-projector-headlights?variant=4422517424158

I was just wondering if anyone had a picture of this model on their truck?
I'm also curious about what this means in the product description:
    • Some wiring may be required for operation of Halo, LEDs (if equipped).
Anyway, just looking for an affordable alternative, thanks for the help TW.

Yeah because if you're paying $850 for headlights they absolutely must be a quality product right? You realize most retrofits sold on here are made by some dude hacking a headlight apart with his oven and making them in his kitchen right? Ask all the members on here who paid over $700 for retrofits and then post pictures later complaining that they're fogging up and have condensation building in them.

So are those Ebay projector headlights designed for HIDs?

I used a cheap ebay projector in my HID retrofit into my stock housing and have no complaints about the projectors themselves... they have a great cutoff and have been working for ~3 years with no issues...

If those are HID projectors in those lights Im probably going to try a set.

Fixed that for you. Never understood why anyone in their right mind would have nearly $1k (depending on "options") for an aftermarket headlight housing with slightly better lighting performance. IMO anyone considering that should keep their OEM housings and do the ultimate headlight upgrade instead for best performance and long-term reliability.

That being said, I had a pair of OEM housings that I retro-fitted with HIDs myself. It was a great mod and I was happy with the results but over time they got some fogging on the outside. Rather than take the time to polish them up I decided I wanted to change the look of my truck a little bit (this can happen when you've owned something for nearly 7 years I guess) so I sold them as-is to another member here and popped in a pair of the TacomaBeast black housings.

The first thing that caught my eye was that they were subtle and included the things I personally liked in newer car's headlights. I really like the look of the LED running light bars and this housing had that. It also had ease of installation as well as looked like it could be OEM because it was very subtle in terms of appearance other than the light bar which also looked like it could be OEM.

I read reviews and, unlike many of the other cheap aftermarket housings found on eBay, Amazon, etc. it seemed like these were holding up pretty well in terms of fogging/moisture leaking which was priority #1 for me facing a polishing issue on my OEM housings after years of use. Last thing I wanted was to get myself into a situation where not only was this happening still but at a much more frequent rate.

Time will tell as I've only had them for half a year or so but others who have had them much longer have had good things to say so I'm cautiously confident in my purchase. For me, these were the housings I wanted and so far I'm happy with my decision. Not for everyone but I don't own everyone's truck either.

    I actually use it.
I don't think you know what you're talking about. I agree that both lights above are junk and there are only a few good named projectors for retrofitting. But you know.. A lot of people these days don't care about or even know how to recognize quality. 95% of what Tacoma Beast sells is junk imported from China. It's also a business running under multiple names. I'll take my money elsewhere. There are U.S. businesses selling quality aftermarket products for Toyotas, they will not sell you products for stupid cheap because they aren't made by exploiting labor.

This is MY set up. This with the Spyder with the C-Light. I added some pilot pivot Morimoto Halos inside the housing as well as 2x Run-d Flood Led Lights in the Highbeam. Results are ABSOLUTLEY AMAZING. DONT LISTEN TO THESE GUYS ON HERE. IF YOU MAKE THEM CUTOM THEY TURN OUT AMAZING!!! The Halos Can change Color thru Bluetooth app on your phone. UNREAL TECH!! Super Clean. If you do custom work and seal the housing so no water gets in and take good care of them. they will looks real good. Do not get the halos that come with the housing as those halos are not bright and cannot see during the day time. The Morimotos are excellent!! I also installed Morimoto D2S Projectors!

Has anyone put LED H1s in these. I saw Morimoto has a pretty nice set of LEDs. Curious if these would create a decent beam pattern.
