I ran one for 3k miles. No issues or complaints. I removed to install a 6 inch lift. If you want to go for it I'll sell you my kit with diff drop.

These spacer lifts have a following of folks who spit on them. But at the end of the day, there are hundreds of thousands of trucks out there running this lift every day.

There is a lift out there for everyone and a truck that will see mostly street use does not need $3000 coilivers.

 

My next door friend has a similar kit on his 09 for going on 6 years now,and he has had not a single problem.There is nothing wrong with the kits.Tons of Ford guys me included, run small lift blocks on our big trucks.Not everyone wants too spend tons of money on expensive lifts.

 

How do you use your truck?... How do you plan on using your truck!... A lot of people go the cheaper route first without really knowing or putting a lot of thought into it and later switch to something a lot better that fits their needs. Maybe this is for you but I would keep looking.

 

If it’s mainly a street queen, you’ll be fine. Depending on the age of the shocks, there could be a chance of premature wear on them.

 

You don't need to spend a ton of money to get a good lift. For only slightly more you can do Bilstien 5100's in the front and either blocks or a 3 piece add a leaf in the rear. Bilstiens will have a much better ride quality than those spacers

 

5100 should ride the exact same as these spacers. When you move the c clip on the 5100 you are effectively adding a spacer.

I had to trim the bottom corner of the front fenders. Edge closest to front of the truck.

I've got the kit if you want to buy it. Only 3k miles on it.

I've been on the same kit for 2 and 1/2 years no problems at all with the right shock in the rear you'll be good

 

On my 18 trdor would I need to change the shocks?

 

To make the kit complete change the shocks. You can get them $100 for the pair I think. It's a bilstein part number.

If you stay away from off-roading you’ll be fine. The people saying do a real suspension lift just like to be pushy for whatever reason. If you’re strictly going for looks spacers are your bff as they’re cheap. If you’re looking to get into some trails you’re better off actually switching out your suspension components. There’s a lot of threads on this forum, great info. I suggest putting in some time researching what others have done and narrowing down what exactly you’re looking to get out of lifting your rig.

Aside from that, $85 seems a little sketchy to me. I have a 1” block in the rear of my truck and that alone ran me $60 so $85 for that kit is a little concerning, but doesn’t mean it’ll work fine.
