yes, the old style does not require "custom wheels" the new style will not work with stock wheels and requires spacers or aftermarket wheels.

Thanks for the reply. But which is the "old style" and which is the "new style" ? Old style is sway bar eliminating? Also, if one has an aftermarket wheel, do you know what backspacing on the wheel is compatible with the "new style"?

Also, assuming the wheel bearings are good, what O-ring or seal is there to replace? do you have a part number or picture?

New style allows for sway bars and is supposedly stronger. Check their site for specifics and because I'm working off of memory from years ago.

I have the diagram on my home PC so I can't get it for you rt now. TTORA has all the diagrams and service manuals. I would spend some time there going through their data base - they have it all.

Check the TC site and call them for specifics regarding backset.

I know this is a old thread.. I have a 06 Double Cab long bed with the All Pro Pro Kit. 2.5 coilovers and full leaf pack. I installed a ARB bumper and winch and it sunk my truck pretty good. Can i removed the coil springs and install 700lb springs to get more of a lift instead of what i have in there now cranked all the way.?

    Old thread re-bump.

Trying to decide on 650 vs 700 here, too. Currently have 600#, 13" on FOX IFP (no reservoir) with existing dual batteries and adding ARB deluxe bumper & my old XD9000 w/ synthetic rope. My fender lip is 22" driver, 22.5" passenger but would like more like around 23" when I'm done. Still running stock skids but better is on the radar sometime in the future.

Hate to do this twice but wondering is 700# will be tolerable without skid plates yet.

Well I run 700lb coils.. thas the strongest coils you can fit under these trucks with just about any strut. I like them so far but would like to go higher. but at the moment only way will be 1" spacers. I got mine preloaded to the max.
