I had a hard time finding any weight ratings for any brands of toppers. I think the sportsman package is rated for 500 lbs. I assume this is the dynamic rating but it is not very clear. If the sportsman package takes the topper up to 500 lb then the standard rating would be less but I don't know how much.

Yeah I don’t have the sportsman package. I was thinking about getting a front runner rack, but still not sure if that will be good enough for a RTT? Plus, COG is much higher.

Get an RLD if you plan on putting on a RTT and doing any off roading. Nothing comes close to the the weight limit that these canopies can hold. And they will out last any fiberglass canopy. But if your just sticking to roads then a Sportsman’s Snugtop, Leer CC, or an ARE HD canopy should work fine. But I’ve owned a Leer 180CC, a Snugtop, and two ARE MX HD canopies and they were all nice but none of them can compare to this RLD. It’s awesome to be able to walk on top of it and my CVT to load stuff and bounce around off-roading and not have to worry about anything. Installed a Leer 100XR & Leer (Tepui) RTT last month. Shell had the rails already installed. Leer RTT owners manual says the tent will work with 100 XR plus 7 other models just as they are built. Made my own shell mounts to keep the rails open for other uses. Made my own tent mount. 1600 miles, including some off-road with no issues. I am still averaging (for the whole trip) over 20mpg with the RTT on. Amazing! Installed an Air-Lift overload today to help with the added weight.
