Campis Pizza from Buffalo, NY. Its so big it has its own braided crust, super thick and kinda sweet. Best pizza i have ever had. also a $2 slice of chicken wing pizza from the local pizza place. I was just listening to JRE, he had guest Dom A'Gostino. Towards the very end of the podcast , Dom mentioned a Keto friendly pizza. The crust is made up of chicken and some other stuff. I forgot what exactly, but it definitely sounded worth a try, even if you're not on Keto diet

    Dude :sorry:

I had one gout bout ... self induced by an over indulgence in fresh oysters 4 or 5 yrs ago. I'm cautious to avoid a recurrence...bad times for real. :(

Ill eat pretty much anything but rice, celery and noodles (less lasagna and mac and cheese) and ill eat it twice as fast in pizza form. Gravy and biscuits may be my all time favorite food, but pizza is a close 2nd and now i want a gravy and biscuit pizza...

The crust to me (along with otherworldly amounts of cheese) makes this pizza.

Indeed, although NY style is still tops with me ... has to have the right amount of crisp and foldability:thumbsup:

Two great combos are : Pepperoni & Black Olives, Hamburger or Pork & Mushrooms. Onions added to both is also great for three topping pizza's ... don't forget the crushed peppers and parmesan, plus a pinch of oregano !

I tried the Grimaldi's in Tampa FL and the pizza was pretty good. I've had better in the past but it was definitely not a low end pizza.

I'm is SoCal ...and was under the impression Grim's was just in NY. There is one out here in El Segundo off Rosecrans. Schweeet !! Will try it soon ! This thread is gold !

An 'ok' place to go out here is Ameci's ... it's a mini franchise too. I can only vouch for the one near Rossmoor in Los Alamitos. http://amecipizzaandpasta.com/

A little place in Cerritos, CA called Avenue 3 pizza is pretty good too. https://www.ave3pizza.com/
