Ideally you will have a wooden one that you build and launch your pizzas on and a thinner metal one you turn and remove your pizza with
    Here’s one I built a couple years ago:54243AD7-0D74-4E12-AB0C-0E10CFD8AA58.jpg

This is what I am thinking about getting, with the exception of building my own (wooden). I have my infrared temp guage coming, but I have not got the peel(s). I am planning on doing our first pizza on the smoker/oven Friday or Saturday. BTW how did you join the different woods on your peel and what glue did you use?

Haha! Yeah, not my best cut job. I was working with a short knife in low light conditions! Plus had had a couple of those Budweisers.

Heck, that looks easy -- I'll have to try that -- what led you to your wood choices? I have plenty of oak and walnut to try maybe even some mahogany layin around

    A peel doesn't REALLY need a coating.

Dough looks a little cracker like, but would eat with relish.

Yeah, it was weird. Store bought skins. I’ve had some others that were good, these were…different.

I tell my wife that we need a new pizza pan because our quite aged one is starting to lose its nonstick coating.

We're also going to get an additional one just for her GF pizzas, something we should have done a while ago but so far hasn't been a problem. Now's the time to remedy that, though.

She fires up Amazon and starts adding ones she likes to the cart as a holding pen.

I fire up Amazon to see what she's found.

    There's 12 in there.

Scratch that. Now there's 13.

Narrowed it down and pulling the trigger on these two.

We have a USA Pan jelly roll pan and it's fantastic. This has the same design and finish so I'm expecting it to be on par.

For the other one, my wife liked the color ( ) and even though it has no reviews, the same brand, color and finish for other items review well so the pizza pans should be fine.

And because the plastic pizza cutter we got when my wife interviewed for a job 15 years ago is about to break in half, a new 2 pack was ordered, too.
