So how did the dough come out? One of the things I figured out when I was doin a bunch of pizzas for our camping trip was I would put the dough in first for a short time then pile the sauce/cheese/toppings and put it back in. The center of the dough wasn't cooking under the sauce well any other way.

For the dough. I did Ooni quick dough recipe. I don’t think I waited long enough. The 1st pizza vs the 5th, day and night. By the last one, the dough was easily workable and cooked well. At least from what I could gather.

The oven is a learning curve second to the dough. I kept starving my flame every time I’d add pellets. Had to keep blowing in the back grate. I think next cook, I’m going to mount a little fan behind always feeding air.

But wow. What a great tasting pizza pie for my first go at this. Looking forward the next cook.

I'm with him. I hate that saying, there is bad pizza, and it should be shamed for being bad.

Domino's, to be fair, isn't it. Domino's is the Dodge Journey of the pizza world. It's an entirely mediocre pie for an entirely mediocre price, they claim to be pizza, not "gourmet" pizza, or "the best" pizza. They just claim to be "an pizza".

You want the Pontiac Aztek of the pizza world?

Ya it's a good learning curve. I like the fan idea, may have to try that out. Little fan on a battery with maybe a rheostat on it to change the speed of the fan. Try a quick cook of just the dough then take it out and add everything else. Made them come out so much better after we figured that out. Especially on the pies that were more heavily loaded. Oh and dessert pizza is the bomb. We made like 3-4 of those last camping trip and everyone wished we had more. Most popular one was one with nutella, chopped up candy bars, caramel and some sea salt. OK I'm going to be honest all the dessert ones were really good.

What the actual F is some of that? :puke:
