Pizza topping leftovers used in tonight's salad.

Needed something quick and easy to roll with as I finished up on her car. All ready for the new owners.

One thing that is cool about being a dude who is always grilling......always some leftover chicken breast or something good to toss into a salad like tonight's eats. Had some leftover boneless that had the same seasonings as the wings I cooked a couple nights ago.

I like my pizza like the terminator likes his pizza:

Pepperoni with 9mm bullets on it.

So I finally got the Kettle Pizza and gave it a run. I used a hack I found on some BBQ forums and placed an additional foil covered cooking grate on the top of the ring under the Webber lid. This made for a hotter dome temp, so hot in fact that the foil melted all over my first pizza. I then had to go back to the drawing board and put a cookie sheet on top of the top grate to hold in temp. This worked well but I will be purchasing their baking steel for this purpose in the future.IMG_2999.jpg IMG_3001.jpg IMG_3003.jpg

I love this too, it's far better than ham & pineapple, far better than Canadian bacon & pineapple. The spicy plus sweet flavor combination is great!

I will have to try this variation of my favorite (above). I bet the green olives add a tangy flavor to the spicy and sweet, sounds awesome! I think green pepper would also add a good tangy flavor to compliment the spicy and sweet... might just have to do one or both of these for the upcoming playoff party season!

Yes sometimes a good and simple extra cheese pizza hits the spot!

Can you tell I love pizza too?! LOL My first "real job" (paying taxes and all), I was 16 years old and assistant manager at Little Caesar's just down the street from my high school. The pizza store owner was super cool, he had plenty of other investments so this was just a fun hobby for him. He let us do nearly anything we wanted as long as we didn't turn off customers or (knowingly) break any foodservice rules. There was a liquor store two doors down and I was often scheduled to close on Fridays and Saturdays... those were some fun times!

Great find, thanks. Same price and ship times as Amazon but I'd rather deal with a merchant direct. Thanks again.

I tried getting some fire bricks on Craigslist...1.50 each for 70 fire bricks but they sold when I was emailing the person! lol. Found 30 more for 2.00 a piece or $50 for 30 if I take all of them. Would be good for a fire brick pizza oven :)I think Im going to try this next summer.
