OK the crust is a Boboli premade which I brushed with the Anchovy oil. I added some spices to the Prego sauce and went with straight Mozzerella cheese and the Anchovy filet on top. 500 till good and yum! Anchovy is awesome but hard to pair.

Sweet bell peppers, garlic butter (unsalted), olive oil, goat cheese, lemon vinaigrette, charred asparagus, prosciutto, and other a.) sweet or b.) unsalted toppings work well! I didn’t suggest nuts or fruit because... I don’t believe in them as toppings :D

I picked up a red stag after you mentioned it. The higher heat has finally enabled me to get the “Neapolitan” crust I like. Crispy yet very light and airy. This is a game changer for me.

Awesome! Glad you are enjoying it. A traditional oven with a pizza stone doesn't even compare.

Something else I've started doing is cooking my pizzas on a screen. Just slide the whole thing in and maybe give it a turn halfway through. I think keeping the dough off of the stone makes an even crisper crust. I'll try to remember to take some pics tonight.

We try as many pizza joints as possible with gluten free options/precautions on every trip. Amore Neapolitan Pizzeria — ABQ, NM. Fantastic crust (right) and equally phenomenal gluten free crust (left). It was a good dinner :p

Started container gardening this year with the goal of making grilled pizzas from scratch. Got my first tomato in today and didn’t have enough to make a full pizza, so I made a mini version with some my fresh basil.. not quite the real thing but still delicious! 9019B18A-B0B4-4DDE-94C6-4DFA1941C0F4.jpg

A little of this and a little of that.
Daughter wanted home made pizza for dinner today. There’s a little bit of everything on these.

What vegan cheese did you use? It looks like it melted real nicely!

I'll snap a picture of the bag. My wife and I agreed that the texture was a little glue-y unfortunately. I usually just leave the cheese of hers and go heavy sauce.

That’s always my complaint with the dairy free cheeses. Looks and has the consistency of half dried elmers glue…
Trader Joe’s has one made from almonds that is the closest I’ve found to the real thing, but doesn’t melt all that great unfortunately.

I haven’t tried that one. I think I’ll keep it that way if it’s gluey too
