Anything Pizza

a buddy got a free pizza from papa murphys that a previous customer didnt pay for so rather than toss it they asked him if he wanted it with the other pizza he ordered. It had artichoke hearts on it. We were all a bit surprised how good it was...

 

I bet it’d be even better with some spinach and pesto

I actually thought about a garlic white sauce after I posted that, but zucchini is a hard pass on pizza for me.

 

The one and only Pizza King, in Longview, Texas. They’ve been around since 1965. Fantastic Pizza!

Oh, and they have draft beer, in pitchers, and frosted mugs!!

Pitchers and frosty mugs... that's the good stuff. During my early college days I worked at a shakeys. You got a free after shifter. Those were the good old days.

 

We had a Shakeys here, back in the 70’s. They had a guy playing the piano and another that played a banjo. They had good pizza.

I was in Alabama(Auburn I think) about 10 yeas ago. They had a Shakeys. That was the first one I had seen in decades. The pizza tasted exactly the way I remembered it, after all those years.

Around here, we have Tommy's and Adriadicos on Ohio States campus that are the same thing...

 

Turned out pretty good for it being the first time ever cooking pizza on the grill!

 

Would eat.

 

Had a leftover dough ball and tried to make a deep dish. Needs some work but still taste great.

 

This was a Morel pizza my wife and I did last year, it was fantastic!! Sourdough crust, a Morel cream sauce base, fontina cheese, fresh morels, and some green onion.

 

Thats some stick your pinky out while holding and eat stuff. Great Job Wolfgang.
