On the 3rd Gens its hard to see out front of the truck when wheeling. Anybody use the the front camera yet when wheeling and was it helpful?

I feel that most people purchase it for that reason. It's definitely very helpful. I'll let others chime in though.

Thanks and maybe any screenshots of it in use while wheeling would be nice if anyone has any.

I ordered up a front and rear kit today, no switches. Any tricks or hints hooking it up to a Switch Pro? Schematics look straight forward enough. I'll let you know how it goes after I do the install.

Rob, thanks for letting me know. I sent you the install guide for the standard kit. I have a guide for Switch Pros installs. I'll send that over to you now.

    Thanks Kyle.

The camera I offer is a cmos camera with 170 degree viewing angle and is IP67 waterproof. Let me know if you have any more questions.

640x480, which I believe is the same as the rear. I can't tell the difference between the two.

Not sure I can help as I haven’t gone off road with it yet, but it’s working really well for parking and the resolution looks to be about the same as the rear

I already have a back up camera that came with the truck, do i have to buy both front/rear kit for both camera to work anytime and is the override nav option available with the kit?

    thanks

    Hey man.

So the rear kit actually integrates the factory rear camera. You can elect to order just the front kit, but it will require the cutting/splicing of Factory Head unit wires. Ordering the rear kit with the front kit will eliminate the need to cut/splice the factory head unit wires.

I no longer provide the toggle switches for the nav/speed sense override. However, if you order a kit just let me know and I can tag/identify the wire that you’ll need to use for the nav override and include the install instructions for it, free of charge. If you only order the front kit, keep in mind that the nav override will also require you to cut/splice factory wires, the rear kit will also eliminate that.

Let me know if you have any other questions.

    Thanks
    JJ

Hey man. Glad everything made it. The installation guide was emailed when your kit shipped. Double check yhe email tied to your PayPal account, possibly spam folder, and it should be there.

If not, send me a message with your email and I’ll get another copy out to you.
