Driver side, there is a firewall grommet. Then I use a wire hanger to push/pull wires through.

So there is no option for vertical angle adjustment Up/Down?

Not with that flush mount bezel. You can mount the camera at angle angle you want. Just depends on your preference.

What is the nav override for? is it necessary for this mod? so for the front and reverse anytime camera you need 3 switches? or just two

You only need 2 switches, unless of course you decide to go with a single toggle/rocker style switch. Which some people in the thread have done.

The nav override allows you to input destination information, and other normally locked out items, while the vehicle is in motion.

Nav override is very easy to put on. I’ll make a note to tag the harness wire for you and include the guide for the nav override.

    Thanks for the support G.

I ordered the kit without switches since I wanted to have both cameras on one switch to save space for future mods.Ordered one from Air on Board. Of course the instructions are for twoseparate switches so mine would be different. Got it installed and had issues with the wiring/switch. I am verymechanically inclined but not so much on the electrical. So I started a multidayconversation via email with JJ atTRDMOD. He provided INCREDIBLE SUPPORT and I am sure patience too in helping get all the wiring/switching figured out. Long story short the modworks fantastic. It is immensely helpful parking in garages, parallel parking, making sure you don't hit anything, and probably good when you are off road coming up over a hill. This is aninexpensive mod and for those of us who venture into the concrete jungle of cities it is an absolute necessity.

I highly recommend this kit, and I cannot say enough good things abouthow great JJ was in helping get it fullyoperational. He should be the standardfor exceptional customer service in this day and age where we get "hold please".

Why are you still reading this? Go on...Go order the kit now..

I sent you an email but don’t know if you got it. I completed my install but have no idea where the diodes go. I am not an electrician and the instructions seem very vague about these. Could you please explain their installation to me as if I were a six year old. Thanks.

Yeah I haven't received any emails from you. Basically the diodes work to create a one way circuit. So that we can send voltage out and prevent it from traveling back. I'll send you a message.

i finished installing my front/rear camera mod today . Thanks to JJ for the help via email!

I bought a 180 degree Parkvision multiview camera from Amazon and mounted it into my trd pro grill by cutting a small square hole for it and glueing it in place. I like the camera a lot, the top down view is really nice and all of the guiding lines can be fully adjusted or disabled. It has 6 display modes in total and you can disable any of the ones you dont want when you cycle through the modes with the control button (mounted near my camera buttons)

    Nate,

It looks like you have the TRD Pro grill. I know there are a few posts throughout the thread of people that have posted pictures of the camera mounted to that grill. I want to say @SWPRO posted one where he mounted it on the grill's garnish piece.

I’m just curious if more people are mounting in the grill or under the bumper and why. I’m thinking I’m going to try it in both places before I make my decision

What I usually suggest is, once you get everything connected have a buddy up front move the camera around until you find an angle/view that you like best, then go from there.
