was hoping for something like this since I already have a factory backup camera and an SPOD but the link is dead:

$15 Basic kit Includes - BYOS 'Bring Your Own Switch' Also Compatible with Switch Pros SP8100+ and SPODs: Click Here to Order
*Please note, this kit does not come with a plug and play harness. You will need to cut one wire on the FactoryHead Unit. And is for the REAR CAMERA ONLY.

Have you reached out to the OP with Direct Message? I think the concept for what you want is pretty simple.... you trick the head unit into thinking it's in reverse. I think it's simply a single wire connection... but which wire is the question. I'm sure one of the electrical diagram gurus could tell us which wire on the factory harness needs to be spliced.

I had an ABC (www.anytimebackupcamera.com) kit in the garage for about a month or so... sold it though. Otherwise I could go out and trace the wiring and tell you. He appears to be sold out at the moment too.

For a 2020 your only option is ABC currently. He is sold out on his site, but I got mine from runnin4tacos.com. Might want to check if he still has some. Get the Nakita Camera to replace the one he sends with the kit. I made an aluminum bracket to fit mine to the 2020 TRD OR grille.

thanks fellas. I have the factory front camera too. Really just wanting the option to check my load when hauling stuff on the rear camera. Since I have all the “big components” was hoping it would just be an easy adapter/wire harness thing to make it happen. I’m not extremely savvy when it comes to electrical (why I have the SPOD).

Check out the MESO Pro Knob thread. I know there were some guys in there testing overrides recently for the 2020 factory camera systems. i think it turned out to be pretty easy... but I don't recall if you had to have an anytime kit too.

was going to reach out to OP, but he hasn’t been on since August 2018. $15 mod is very appealing.

It'll probably be $2.99 once you figure out which wire to splice. Ask @caribe makaira , he might know which to splice to activate rear the camera. He seems to be very knowledgeable about the Taco schematics.

2020 comes with a "intervention" of the parking ECU.
If the vehicle has the Panoramic cams that's another cycling and speed issues.
Front and rear should be just the camera switch to select, after providing a reverse (+) power input to both systems.

I'll be honest, I read this 3-4 times and do not have a clue what you mean. Only thing I can answer is yes, it has the multi-terrain (panoramic) cameras. Just wanting the ability to view the rear camera while driving down the road to check trailer loads.

If you read the owner's manual, you'll get a better understanding of the camera view requirements n settings. An example is that even if you select auto view, if you increase speed more than 12 mph then you loose front camera.
If you were to add a fused power source with a diode and switch to trick the system that the vehicle is in reverse, I don't know if it'll disable or enable a system you don't want' or need or CEL code...Or worse...
In your year model the cameras first go through the Parking Assist ECU then it sends the view to the HU.
It could a simple thing, but for now I do not know. Maybe someone has already don the diode n switch....:notsure:

You could probably do the same trick ABC does for the backup camera portion of the 2020 harness, but he would either need to figure out the wiring to hook it up to his switch or get someone else to figure it out that wants to do it.

That makes sense. It does drop the front camera (and the side/rear camera) in "view button" mode after I reach a speed over 12 mph like you stated. I'll hang back and see if someone with more (better) electrical knowledge than me to come along and find a solution to this. Thank you for getting back with me and helping me understand.

I just sent a message to ABC to see if they might have a solution. I'll post back here on what they respond back with. Thanks!

Thanks for the diagram. But I'll be honest, it's something I wouldn't be able to tackle with my current skills. I can turn a wrench with the best of them and work with metal pretty well. However, when it comes to electrical, I get lost. It's something I want to get better at and I'm actually going to start on my own solar generator to take on camping and hunting trips. I'm hoping, that building my own, I will get a better grip (and confidence) when it comes to things electrical.

Remove Negative terminal of the vehicle battery and wait a few...
Identify the connector. (J12) Under passenger's dash tweeter. But better to access it removing the glovebox.
    upload_2020-3-11_17-49-38.jpg
Identify the wire location and color. Red slot 16 and Dark Gray slot 20
Cut, strip, crimp matching connectors on either ends. x2
    Identify fused power(J12) pin 5 or 9. T-tap it.
Get diode and a on-off switch. Follow diagram...

Or wait for a Youtube video....:D
