The red trigger wire or the red power wire? I have been working at this for hours and can't get it to work on my 2021.

Disregard my last, I got it figured out. The trigger wire is not used. Red power is taken to +12v and it works fine. I did put black to ground just to be safe(?) but the camera was working even without that.

Can't read through 78 pages of stuff..
I got my kit all installed and working today. It all appears to work fine, except the switch lights up both front and rear lights in the "front" position. "Rear" lights up just the rear slot as intended. Anyone have this happen?

    Thanks!

Update, I realized the front camera image is flipped horizontally, and I cut the proper wires. It won’t correct. I emailed anytimebackup camera, with no response. Anyone run into this issue?

So it did nothing when you cut the wire? Mine fixed immediately on my nakita.

New to the forum and owning a truck.... But I'm wondering if I can get just the front camera to help with parking? 2018 tacoma SR comes with rear camera so I have no need for that!

Yeah... you could just unplug the rear camera and plug in your front camera, but it would only come on when in reverse... so it wouldn't be much help to you. You'll need the whole system.

Just get the full kit. Totally worth it. Parking or offroading. Just get the natika camera for it.

    Back to not stock
Just started installing my front and rear setup, got the back of the head unit wiring all hooked up to the switch and tried it out. The image is upside down. Factory rear camera, not sure how its possible for the stock rear camera to be upside down. Front camera is not hooked up yet. I tried searching and going through this thread but couldn't find exactly this problem. Any help is appreciated.

Put everything back to factory and see if it's still upside down.

Also curious. I need a new wiring harness. One of the wires on the harness that goes into the head unit is lose and it makes my audio cut out.

Not sure where you can just get a wiring harness. I'd say PM the OP, but he doesn't look like he's been on for a while.

Have you tried pulling the harness out and trying to fix the loose wire yourself? May not be that hard, depending.
