What to say thanks to JJ for making a great product he was very helpful and was able to answer all of my questions before i started the install.

The install went very smooth and was easy to do. I decided to put the camera in the grille and went with the green, yellow and red lines on the display for now, if i decide not use them anymore i just have to reconnect the green wire on the camera and the lines disappear. The wires were ran through the fire wall on the drivers side where there is a rubber grommet you just push it out of the way with a screw driver and the wires slide right into the cab. I bought 10ft of black wire conduit (I also ran a little bit in the rubber grommet to prevent any wire chaffing) for under the hood to hide the wires for a more factory look in the engine compartment.

Over all I am very happy with this setup.

    Thanks again JJ.

    Chris

    Tom,

Your camera has the capability of adding the guide lines. You'll see a small green wire on the cameras power line. Clip that wire and you'll have the guide lines.

That's awesome. I'll probably call you 7 times to make sure I got the right wire :)

There's only two wires, green and white. You can't miss it. The white would be if you wanted to flip the image for a backup camera, but since you want it forward facing, leave the white wire alone.

Just cut the green wire. :)

Looks good. similar pics to fit above with the cubby, etc. Thought you might appreciate what the wiring looks like using butt connectors.

Mine is on a pro grill. Didn't want to cut a hole in the grill like i'd seen others do in various threads, so ended up mounting it on the front with the tape. Then still used the small screws to hold securely in place.

Since the wire is black, I just routed around to the inside of the grill, and then used zip ties to hold in place along with my raptor light cabling. All with quick connects so i can easily remove the grill.

Tape measure on ground is about 6 inches from bumper.

I live in the Pacific NW, so we'll see how useful this is 11 months out of the year :)

All in all... love this mod. I suck at parking this thing, so this should help.

Again, thanks to JJ for all the help. 30 minutes was a bit ambitious for me - the hardest part getting through the firewall. For some reason it is just so much tighter in my truck. I ended up poking a new hole through the rubber gasket with a coat hanger and routing through that.

Looks good Tom. If you ever want to get rid of the lines, just patch the green wire back together.
