I bought the HAI cable assembly and was able to connect a front camera using the A/V selection on my headunit.

I installed mine this past weekend. I purchased the full kit from anytimebackupcamera. I purchased a camera from Amazon: iNewcow camera from Amazon that fits in the grill toyota

Anytimebackup has some videos that explain how to use his harnesses. Alternatively, you can find some wiring diagrams here that explain what wires to tap into to build your own. But I found the kits really easy to work with (and there was no cutting of OEM wires).

    Edit:
The kit I got uses a relay to choice between sources, and I initially thought I could run the front camera and the power to the relay to select the front camera on the same circuit, but that didn't work (I could hear the relay flickering, which makes me think the camera doesn't have constant draw... but I'm not all that electrically savy).

Many people incorporate 2 switches, one to power the front camera, and one to select source (rear or front camera).

That's a sweet camera, but the 2018s can't use them. The emblem is different (solid with the TSS unit behind it)
