No. I want to use factory-style switches. I ordered an Iggy switch mount but have not received it yet.

Where does the black wire that comes off the 28 pin harness go?

The black wire from the 28pin harness is a 12v wire. So you can connect it to the green wires on both switches.

One last question, the diodes or whatever they're called, is there a certain direction they should be placed in the wiring?
I really want to get this right the first time. ..

 

The diodes are directional. They will have a black mark on them, think of that as the top. Then on the schematic the diode is identified as the triangle symbol with the hyphen over it. Think of the hyphen side as the top.

I found my soldering gun, I'll shoot a pic later, make sure I get the diodes in the right direction.

 

Looking to order the kit w/front camera and switches for 2014 AC. When I used the "Order" link on page 1 the site said the item was no longer available. I found no other links for the 2nd gen kits.

I once heard a rumor that someone got DVD to play of the Entune Head Unit, but I've never seen it.
