For those that opted for the NAV override, what switch are you using?

I'm going to hide this switch. No sense in taking up an oem slot for this functionality. It'll be a simple push button.

Still trying to think of where to put it though. This will ultimately decide which switch though.

    Short list of ideas:
--- inside glovebox beside the usb and aux input i moved there
--- inside the center console armrest
--- on the passenger side of the center console, about mid calf height
--- above the charge pad, though this one might be the hardest

Since i won't be using it, i might intentionally put it as a passenger only accessed button.

I seen someone put a toggle switch, upside down where the steering wheel adjustment lever is located. Hidden and accessible

Good idea on hiding the switch. I'll have to see what I come up with.

OP, how did you wire your switch?

The website shows a DTDP diagram as:
    1 2
    3 4
    5 6

    Your switch is labeled:
    - 7
    1 4
    2 5
    3 6

Did you just wire to the same physical locations rather than numbers?

I assume that 7 is the illumination circuit which taps into the tan wire of the rear window switch?

    Thanks!

Yeah don’t worry about the numbers. For a DPDT the center 2 (left & right) would be the black wires off the harness. The upper and lower left side would be the red wires from the harness. The red relay wire goes to the upper or lower right side depending on which switch is the front camera. You can easily trial & error it. I didn’t wire a light to my switch personally as I can barely even see it while driving anyway. But the tan off the back of the bed light switch is a good source

Have you installed this? Looking to see how this looks mounted. I kinda prefer it over the one with the logos.

Any toggle or rocker switch is bulky by nature and will look big in any slot. I plan to put my front/rear camera rocker in the blank slot on the right side of the panel on lower left cubby.

Ordered one of these and it'll be going in the same hole. Now I just need to find a camera that I like. Don't want to drill to install so I might have to come up with a bolt on bracket.

The switch looks kinda big in this picture. The reality (as OP mentioned) you really can’t see the switch as it is tucked behind the steering wheel. I am not going to bother hooking up the illumination circuit.
