The switch lets you go back to factory operation. Also it's cool.

X3. I do have an idea that might work for me, I'm just looking for a wiring diagram for the BSM button so I can tap the appropriate wires. I took my BSM out when I got a HC rear bumper and should be able to tap those nearby wires to light up whenever my other interior buttons come on.

Question, front camera placement. Was a little reluctant to drill a hole in my plastic grill - no room for mistakes - and I found an unused hole at the bottom of the bumper. Haven’t been able to go off road yet and I’m wondering if I’m going to get the view I’ll need. See pictures.

Honestly, don't know why you'd need to revert back. Better to have it and not need it than need it and not have it?

If you're still working on this... I worked on mine today and got the the back light on the switch to illuminate when I turn on my lights. :bananadance:

I connected the blue wire from the switch to the dash light circuit using an Add A Fuse to 5A dash fuse position in the fuse box under the dash. It's the bottom right most position in the photo below; the lowest of the two Add A Fuses that also has it's fuses facing away. I chose that circuit since I saw a number others, both here and across the internet, do this for switch installs. I did it this way because I really don't want to splice into the factory wiring. I also grounded the grey wire from the switch.

Anyone figure out how to have MESO's 3rd taillight cam, stock tailgate cam, and front cam on a setup?

The bkupanytime toggle switch just has front, off, rear switch options...

Expensive, I know. Worth having a hidden DVR setup for accidents and stuff? Maybe.

I installed a full front camera kit from anytimebackupcamera.com a few months ago, recently it stopped working. When I hit the switch to view the front camera my display goes completely black. I plugged in another camera and tried again, nothing. Still goes black. Tried a new female RCA cable (in engine bay), new positive cable, new ground cable still nothing. Fuse is good. Can the relay behind the head unit be the issue? Anything else I should/can check before pulling the head unit out? Hope someone can help.

Hard to tell without reference lines or objects. Personally I like mine above the bumper because I can put my front end within an inch of objects if I need to.

I agree. I have the leading edge of my front bumper visible for that reason..

I’ve heard the relay can go back, check the crimping on the wiring there as well
