So I got the whole setup wired and used the Nakita camera recommended through here (Which now makes me wish I could upgrade my stock rear camera to a camera with this good of quality video, to be honest)

One thing I wanted to make sure I'm not going crazy on, when using the new relay and switch, whenever I activate the front-facing camera, it seems to light up and activate both front and back at the same time - can tell because, on the switch, both lights are lit at the same time, and whenever I turn it back off, it quickly switches to the rear video feed for a split second before powering all the way off.

Is that normal functionality just because of it tapping into that same override harness/system? Or did I accidentally misconnect something?

I get the split second rear when engaging the front, and presumed it's normal.

Mine is the same way. The front and rear lights on the switch illuminate when front camera is on. When switching to the rear camera, only the rear light on the switch illuminates.

I also get the split second rear camera view when switching off the front camera.

Cameras work great tho. My favorite mod so far.

It's annoying the switch does that. Probably a mistake with it's PCB. The split-second switch to the rear is due to a delay between depolarizing the relay and cutting power to the reverse wire (I think).

Where is everyone installing their included ABC rocker switch? My truck doesn’t have any switch blanks except a tall one below the cubby on the left side and that one doesn’t fit the included switch?

the wireless charging button? I don’t want to remove any of the factory features not to mention I’ve had passengers charge their phones using that.

I may temporarily remove the automatic high beam button until I find a more permanent solution because the automatic high beams are useless anyways.

I'm in a 17 so didn't have that option, but the blank all the way on the right side of the driver door side cubby might work best like you mentioned earlier. You could do the blind spot sensor button if you keep it on all the time, just see how taco twonz did their install.

I bought MESOs stealth shift knob kit and moved the ECT button to the shift knob and then used the ABC rocker switch where the ECT button was

Does that shift knob have the red stitching? I’m OCD about having stuff like that match and I don’t want to mix red stitching with black stitched seats lol

Yes, the stealth pro knob does have a little bit of red stitching, you can see it on the product photos on Mesos website. (https://mesocustoms.com/products/stealth-pro-shift-knob )

But that being said, once it's installed you really can't even notice or see the stitching from the drivers or passenger seat position.

You could also try TacoMods ECT button, it’s the same kit as Meso’s but they do it to your existing shift knob so you don’t have to buy a pro shift knob. Not sure of pricing but just search TacoMods ECT button on here

So I installed my anytime front/rear camera but it still only works when I put it in reverse. The front or anytime function isn’t working. I retraced all my wires and they’re connected to the corresponding wires that it says too. Has this happened to anyone? Any idea on what I could be doing wrong? Thanks

I'm waving the white flag on my installation for now.

The roadblock is getting the system to work with a switchpro 9100.

I've got the rear camera working, on a switch on the switchpro.

I can't get the front to work unless the rear camera is activated.

I'm probably missing something quite simple but I'm fried and it's dumping down rain.

If anyone has advice or a solution is appreciate it. Talk to me like I'm 5...

Ended up using the front camera as master and backup camera as slave. Front turns on both and kicks the relay to switch the signal to the head unit.

    Works just fine

    Lots, straight from the factory.
So does this work if you have the crappy stereo? I have a 2019 without the etune or navigation.

It should. If you've got the rear camera then you've got the potential. However, I am not 100% certain the plug will be the same (pretty sure it is).
