Does anyone know a cheap fix allowing the stock unit to play movies on '14 Tacoma?

I've searched all though EBay with no luck. I've found a couple solutions but they are VERY pricey! I would like to be able to mirror my iPhone through the display.

yeah, i could not find him either.

kinda disappear...otherwise, his stuff is working till now, he basically bought toyota OEM harness and link the radio in the back, all lines are existed throughout the truck. from my experience, he is aware of pin assignment in the back of radio in order to get this done.

Anyone know if this overrides the "vehicle moving" safety feature? In other words, if I'm playing a movie on my phone, will the dash screen still play the movie while the vehicle is moving?

Thinking of doing this mod on my 2015. I have HTC m7 phone and also have wireless Bluetooth HDMI transmitter for the phone. In theory I should be able to wirelessly transmit to radio. Have to wait till pay day as I have spent my upgrade allowance on scoup hood and painted turn mirrors. Anyone interested in progress let me know and I will document.

Has anyone tried this in the 2016 Tacoma (with JBL)? Getting conflicting answers regarding compatibility through Amazon and the Crux is a bit slow on response.
