I guess I didn't see the "nipple."
What I did will self seal very well I believe. I took about a 1 foot
piece of coat hanger, cut off the un-needed length of harness, inserted
coat hanger into wire harness covering about an inch or so, wrapped the
hanger and wiring with some black tape, spray a little wd-40 on harness
where it is taped to hanger for that just right slippery feeling
and poked it through the rubber grommet of the main harness going through
the firewall and pull wiring through. Connect switch, tie up wiring, done.

Finally got around to installing my light bar. Love the results. Thanks @MojaveMadman for a great group buy.

I got the replacement relay and it turned out that it wasn't the relay switch issue.
The issue is the hardness itself, the terminal clamp sheared off the wires and I had solider the wires and check all terminals and now it's running good.

Installing this in my garage in georgia in the summer, bad idea. After gallons of sweat loss and a broken switch connector I decided to go with the Mictuning switch. Install finally complete. This thing is the best and those ApexFab mounts are SOLID!
Also, I used the 2 pin waterproof connector for the light bar to harness.

    Thanks for the sticker Chris!

You are welcome, I will try and get some night shots soon!
The new switch is so much better! Nothing against a free switch and harness, just like you said a much cleaner look!

I actually did not wire in the illumination wire. The red wire next to the black has to be hooked up to another fuse (I know very little about wiring) but I taped it up and not connected so the light is only illuminated if the switch is on. I haven't even checked it out at night. I heard the same things which is why I opted to not connect it. Also because I just didn't want to mess anything up.

That's why I asked because I was planning on just not hooking it up to be illuminated when the parking lights were on. Less to go wrong and fry a fuse. Thanks for the info and it looks good!

Has anyone noticed an increase in water temperature with there lightbar installed? I run a scan gauge and noticed that I'm running on average three degrees warmer on the interstate (~ 193 degrees) when I used to be at 190. Going up a steep hill I saw 197 which I have never seen before. Any reason for concern?

Could also be a rise in air temps as it heats up in your area. As long as you are within the acceptable temp range you should be fine

Got my mounts today. I thought it was the mounts and light bar that showed up, but now I can be ready when the bar arrives to get it in quicker. Then it's time to go blind some bunnies!!! :turtleride::bananadance:

Ya they currently ship separately. Cali Raised gets better shipping rates and allows us to keep our prices low.
