apple "buying" back 1st gen nano?

    i just got some letter in the mail today saying that my nano might be eligible for the class action suit they had brought against them an i may get up to $25 for it. I guess this gen was not coated and due to all the scratching issues, Apple is taking them back? anyone heard of this?

    is this legit? i hate mine for one because of all the damn scratches and two because the buttons are soo touchy that i cant even turn the thing off anymore.

    yeh, the weird thing is is that my mom has the same one as me but she didn't get the card that I got in the mail. guess i might have to ask the people at the apple store if this is true.
