suppressors are like potato chips. Can’t have just one. The collection will grow. I probably use my 22 suppressor more than anything.

Does form 1 mean building one?

Yes, the ATF form 1 is for manufacturing a SBR, SBS, AOW, or suppressor.
Form 1 is how I did my SBR, I already had my lower so I had it engraved and sent in the form 1 to make it an SBR, once I got the approved form and tax stamp back I was able to install my short upper.

The other common forms are the Form 3, form 4, and 5320.20
The form 3 is to transfer NFA items between dealers, the form 4 is a transfer to an individual (buying a prebuilt SBR, SBS, AOW, or suppressor) and the 5320.20 is a request to transfer NFA items (except suppressors, they do not need the 5320.20) interstate temporarily or a permanent change of residence.

The sbr stamp silly! She will never know the difference of a brace or stock. Until I tell her after it’s all said and done of course.

To us mere mortals, yes. I left it out because it’s for FFL’s only.

Ok yeah I kinda thought I had form 1 and 4 right in my head lol supposedly the store closest to me is gonna be getting a kiosk. I’d rather go through that than have to get my prints done and send them off and what not. Need to continue my research on suppressors now...

No kiosk close to me so I had to do the finger prints and mail them in. Only added two days so it’s not bad.

Put about 200rds of garbage steel cased Tullamo through the new AR pistol. I sighted in my Red dot and iron sights. Things I learned
    1. That steel cased ammo ran like garbage In my PSA 10.5 and in my buddies Aero Precision 10.5” Pistol. Both of our guns had SEVERAL failures to eject, light strikes & failure to feed, and also failure to lock open on empty mag. Both rifles were VERY DRY. I sprayed some ballistol in the BCG and upper receiver & racked the charging handle a dozen times and then had absolutely no other failures.

    2. I will keep my AR “wet”

    3. I’ll probably stick to brass manufactured ammo just to reduce the frustration that ultra cheap steel cased can cause but it was probably all due to the fact that I never even cleaned/lubed the AR before taking it out.

Looking to use a BCM KMR with a Surefire Warden. Wanted to know if the outside diameter of the Warden exceeds the inside diameter of the KMR? Essentially, can I have a little overlap between the two? From the pics I've seen this won't work but I wanted to confirm. Let me know!

    I mean… it’s a Ford, you don’t care
I too keep my rifles relatively wet and almost never experience failures due to steel cased ammo. That being said, they arent dripping in oil lol. My 5.56 gun loves that cheap shitty ammo! However my old 10.5” upper didn’t like it. Weird how that worked out.
Have a 9mm pistol now and need to sight it in.

This is my very first AR & I’m not an “excessively oiled” kind of guy. I keep my guns on the dry’er side generally. I also only use Ballistol exclusively, which helps keep everything easy to maintain/lube without “gumming up” anything with other types of lube

    Won’t work

BCM lists inside diameter as 1.3 and the Warden is 1.5 if you don’t have the QD, 1.6 with QD

I realized almost immediately the the QD system of the Warden will create and issue of its own.

    thanks for the input though!
