From what I have heard is the PSA has purchased a barrel manufacturing company and now makes it's own barrels as well as some misc small parts.....

PSA gets it's barrels from FN in Columbia. I don't think they bought them out.

Thank you for helping me understand the platform better! So basically the "furniture" as I've seen it called on the internet is like the forearm? Then the slots or grooves in the forearm is where you put the W/P rails in to attach the accessory that you want, correct?

When I last checked in early/mid 16 chrome moly barrels by PSA are Wilson Arms maybe CHF barrels are still FN..... PSA is not reliable on answering emails or questions on the phone! Since then I have heard they're making there own but who really knows.

Hummm, Army trains differently. We do a 300 Meter zero and just to confuse the world we do it at 25 Meters with a "300 meter Target".

***Note, Marines is slightly different and they use Yards over Meters (Distance).

Correct, but they have to be M lok style mounts if he has an M lok style rail/furniture. Furniture does also include the butt stock. Did you watch the video above, that is a very true two measurements explanation between Weaver and the picatinny, but since you were only dealing with picatinny on an AR, I didn’t want to get into all that information and throw too much at you. And obviously there’s many other manufacturers out there besides Bushnell but I just used those as examples of styles that you would commonly see on Ar’s to get away from iron sites. good luck hunting !

FYI. Hand gourds also come with a style called key-mod. But I’m sure you have seen that by now.

I didn't see the video. I'm not sure my work computer didn't show it or not. Which post is it on?

I went with the behind the front seat option because it was cheap. So far it has held up well. I've had all three slots filled with guns and no issues. The top two rungs guns are visible so if you stop into a store or something make sure its on the bottom one.

HVA came through with the correct bolts for the mag release. I like how it feels vs the Odin Werks I had. The knurling is a plus.

Pardon my ignorance but WTF is a "dissipator" barrel?

Edit: Google came through, PSA has some cheap uppers, that's the route I would go and put the hand guard you want on it that way you're not messing with installing the A2 FSB.
