Hey guys i currently have an Eotech 512 on my AR. I am thinking about putting a scope on it for some Hog Hunting.
What do you guys recommend? or should I just stay with the Eotech?

It depends on how far you want to reach out to with a 5.56. With your Eotech, if you do a 25yd sight in on the center dot, 25yds is the same as 300yds do to the bullet path of a 5.56. You can easily hunt with an Eotech this way by using holds. 25-150yrds the round is rising so aim slightly lower. 150yds is going to be your highest bullet path before it starts dropping. 150-300 it comes back down to the center dot. Outside of 300 your rounds will impact low so aim slightly high.

A lift, some wheels, some tires, some performance, some cosmetic and then audio.
Have you considered a 1-4x or even better a 1-6x? Primary Arms makes a great 1-6x with ACSS reticle, illuminated/etched. Or the new Vortex Strike Eagle. Both have BDC. I prefer the Primary Arms because I am used to the ACSS reticle. Both are in the sub $250-$350 range.

I have a Trijicon Accupoint 1-4X which I'm very happy with. The 1Xis true so shooting with both eyes open at this power is easy. I've got the red triangle aperture which I like. Other nice thing is I can move this to my .308 platform rifles too.

    Cheers, James
