Literally just helped my neighbor wire up his Arb twin compressor. Turned it on ran great. Turned it off. Turned it on a second time and it ran then it shut off on its own due to pressure reaching its limit. We let the air out and the unit and it will not turn on again... Stumbled onto this post while scratching our heads troubleshooting and tested the pressure regulator switch. It’s bad... Bypassed it as a test and the thing runs fine...

What a piece of junk. The thing is brand new...

I am not overly impressed by ARB. More Aussie bullshit IMHO.

It's a new one so it may be sticky. I'd tap it with a hammer a bit and try to cycle it more before I threw in the towel and while waiting for the replacement.

I hear ya. I thought of that. Just seems silly to have to take a hammer to a $500 brand new unit. I think my neighbor already ordered a replacement pressure switch. We may mess with it who knows. I’ll tell ya. As we were hooking it up I was thinking how cool it would be to maybe get one for my truck. Then that happened and I couldn’t help but think oh hell no now...

When I was shopping for lockers I ran into a lot of horror stories of guys with Arb air lockers having issues with seals leaking and decided on harrop e lockers. Feels like I made a great decision.

ARB makes fairly quality stuff but at the mass produced level. The lockers typically have issues from poor install. I've been around a lot and the hacked installs are headaches and the quality installs are flawless. My current one is 100% trouble free and I created a diy thread walking through the install. When it comes to a selectable, on demand, robust locker the ARB still sits on top by a good margin.

Yea I’m a big fan of my BP-51 lift I got from them. And they handled a warranty from me on a front coilover really quick. I’m sure this was a one off. Just unfortunate. I absolutely love my harrop lockers. Never had any issues with disengagement like people claim. Easy to install and less things that can go wrong. All win win.

I have the lockers and agree they are great properly installed. Their compressor is OK. Their supporting gear is just Chinese trash. IMHO.
