    yes and no.

    It will hold the bumper fine. But eventually (or sooner rather than later, depending on how worn your coils are) your front end will start to sag.

    Aftermarket struts and coils will be your best bet.

    My 02 xtra cab had an ARB bumper on it when i bought it. The stock suspension was completely wore out in the front. There was probably about an inch of up travel before the bump stops would hit. So needless to say, I was bottoming out a lot! I just upgraded the front with new OME 883's and OME shocks. Now it is riding great!

    So to answer your question, the stock will hold it fine, but may not ride the best. I would suggest upgrading your suspension as well, but if you don't have the funds to do it all at once, you should be OK on the stock suspension and the ARB for a while.
