It's come time to replace my O-rings in the arb rear air locker. Reason being is there's gear oil in the air line where it attaches to the air compressor. For those of you who have replaced these yourself or had them replaced at a shop, how long of a process is this to do yourself if you have all the necessary tools? Besides the O-ring/seal kit that ARB sells, is it suggested to replace anything else while the diff is open? Have any of you went to replace these and come to find out something else is broken? How long on average does it take for a shop to do it and how much is the labor for something like this? Please feel free to share any experiences with this! Thanks in advance for any help.

How much oil? Service manual states that some oil mist around the solenoid exhaust port is normal. This means that a small amount of oil in the line is likely normal too.

Oh? The locker won’t engage at all right now due to the line being completely clogged. It is worth noting that the truck did sit for a year. It might be worth having that line blown out and see if that fixes it. Unfortunately I don’t have my service manual. I think the specialty shop kept it and I no longer live in that area.

I’d blow the line out and start the trouble shooting process over again.
