So I recently bought a ARB for a steal. Problem was, it was the Prado bumper that the 4 runner limited guys run. I bought it anyway, I figure I can make it work. Yes I read it sticks out further...yes, I read it's a pain to get to work. All said and done it was the easiest bumper to install, it does stick out further but not that bad, and I think it fits my means..I need a good bumper for animal strikes, or zombies, or occasional shopping cart or car:rolleyes: The approach angle probably is a little worse than the Tacoma one. Either way if you find one for sale for a deal....buy it ....it works great!...worse case scenario sell it to a 4 runner guy, if you find a Tacoma one. Works for me!

Looks awesome, I don't see any difference between this ARB and other that are made for tacos. Good job :D

Thanks man..I bought this because I needed a front bumper anyway..I actually paid 300 bucks for the ARB..the new bumper would have been 100 bucks( for a piece of tin) I already sold my go rhino brush guard for 200 bucks and my old rear bumper..lol.l.so I break even. This arb has gaps but you can put it up high, it has room for flex.

I bought my tacoma with an ARB bumper already on it and it sticks out the sides as well. I am not sure which model mine is, but it has served its purpose for me. Here is a picture of how my bumper fits. Is this similar to yours? I was thinking this might have been a land cruiser bumper or something.

It's the same one I have....it is from a 2000 Toyota Prado. Sits identical. Look inside the bumper on the driver side, there should be a 4 inch by 4 inch tag that says the same thing.

Does your bumper have the Warn "W" in it too?

Interesting. I had tried to search the webs to find more information on this bumper and couldn't find anything. I wonder how some of these bumpers made it over to the US. Do they also fit some of the land cruiser models?

Not sure...but the European Prado and the American Tacoma share the same frame. The prado is wider(hence the wider bumper), all Arb stuff comes from Australia, I am guessing someone had it ordered for a 4 runner. That's what mine was on when I bought it. It is very heavy...but that's a good thing right:)

Is there a source of cheap Prado bumpers out there? Or is this just FYI? I imagine this being a pretty rare item? Anyway, looks great and will definitely keep off the zombies pushing shopping carts!

To be honest..... I bought this because I didn't want to dish out 900-1000 bucks on the proper Tacoma one( so its a FYI) .When I did a google search I got very little info if it would work on a Tacoma. As for the zombies pushing shopping carts...serves them right robbing our food!:D
