285/75-17 Cooper AT3 XLT showed up today

These are ~33.8" diameter. I am looking to cross comfort, low noise, reasonable mpg for decent range, and decent traction for 95% of situations.

When I go on a long trip, I want to enjoy the drive, minimize fatigue from noise and vibration, and not be hampered on fuel range

I was happy with my Cooper ST Maxx prior, so thought the new gen AT3s would also be good fit. I also love BFG K02s, and was considering the Toyo Open Country ATIIIs. Lots of good tires out there, but happy with the Coopers

Sub’ed, interested to see how this goes. My short bed camper build is a little further along than yours but I’m curious to see if I can steal some of your ideas

Plan is to build it for severe duty off road, whatever may come. But also for extended camping. I may be including an M1101 trailer as an optional part of setup, which I recently acquired.

Sold the tonneau cover and the 4runner wheels in last 24 hours.

First time it's been without the cover and I like it, but plan is to build a camp setup on it.

Swapped the M1101 offroad trailer to some 16×8 Dodge 2000-2002 aluminum wheels and 265/75-16 Firestone Transforce tires.
These are same wheels on my 02 Cummins.
(These Dodge wheels are perfect since they have a 6.5" backspacing, and Humvee have around 7")
So much easier to handle tire changes, plus the excessive height of trailer came down 2".
And the aerodynamic and parasitic drag will be lower.
I didn't measure the weight, but they were easy to toss around, maybe 1/2 the weight of 37s and steel wheels

I'm really excited about the Brute Force Fab 2012-2015 plate bumper on order with full headlight protection.
Going to update to the newer headlights, hood and grill

    Couple pics for reference

New Archive High clearance cross tube installed and tested on my Tacoma.
Highest clearance cross tube on the market, which compliments the highest clearance hangers. It also connects to the stock cross member, 100% bolt-on, no drilling.

Did A-B-A-B testing vs the original Archive straight tube, the High clearance didn't improve ride quality vs the straight tube.

Looks Great, Picked up a set of the hangers from @state48overland because they had one set in stock and i couldn't pass up no lead time. So i will need to order cross tube and bushings from you. I like the high Clearance option but realistically would i actually hit the cross tube on a rock? Still planning on grabbing some shock towers in Feb but excited about my hangers!
