Are 5100s at 2.5 enough to fit 33s?

    Hi,

What issues am I likely to run into with just 5100s set at the max 2.5 with the TSB done in the back to run some 33s? I am looking at some 285/65/18 Nitto Trail grapplers because of the nice mean look and I hear they get good MPG and last quite a bit...

I would rather "just" do the 5100s now because I may chose to do a full 6" later on down the road... but, I want to make sure by not buying a full 3" kit that I can still run the 33's with minimal complications like trimming TOO much...

Your help is greatly appreciated. I have searched a few threads and things seem to lean towards it being a non-issue, but I would like to know specifically from those who had ventured this path. (2010 4x4 DC)

you're going to need to trim a bit with stock wheels.
