Are the Tacoma SR bumper caps made of the same material as the TRD Off-Road fender flares?

Undergoing the 3rd gen Tacoma chrome delete.

Those of you that work at a dealership or are around several different 3rd gen Tacomas, I am wondering if the rear bumper caps on the Tacoma SR model are the same color and same material as the Tacoma TRD Off-Road fender flares? If they are, personally there's no point in going through the hassle of having bumper covers painted to match my truck and I'll just buy those.

Given the fact that the fender flares on my TRD Off-Road are polymer, a polymer bumper of the same color, wouldn't look bad at all.

I agree the chrome looks out of place with everything else black. I replaced mine with the black caps. While I had the bumper off I installed the Rigid SR-M backup light kit. I removed my bumper; to me it was much easier than just removing the caps.
