I bought the Honda Pilot while stationed at Hickam, HI in 2002 in its first year as a 2003 model. I put over 200K miles on that SUV as it traveled to Ramstein Germany (many trips to nearby countries) then Dover, Delaware then Aviano, Italy and finally back to Dover. In Oct 2018, it was a middle lane dweller in stopped traffic that ran into my left front tire that ruined the frame/total loss from insurance claim. I miss that SUV for a year while I drove my Mazda CX-9 and finally bought my first NEW Toyota Truck in May of this year!

My Sport was assembled in Mexico and I identified one flaw...which was non-mechanical--rubber seal tucked under windshield. Which I will have the dealership evaluate on my 10K Mile Maintenance.

Other than that, my Sport has been very good to me!

BTW... that "seal" is just part of a beauty bezel and not an actual seal. You can pop that out no issue... Open the hood and you'll see that the cowl and "seal" can be wiggled around with your hand. Might save you some embarrassment with the dealer.

Ask me how I know :anonymous:

    Hahahaha! I won't ask.

I pretend to not know anything when I talk to the dealership...just kidding! lol

I'm sure I can pop it back in there...I'm thinking the crease will have to just fade in time.

    Thanks for the heads up.
