    - Intro: We will be driving through the AZ Peace Trail! It is a 700+ mile OHV loop that starts and ends in Kingman AZ. Being a weekend trip, we will take the trail from south to north to get the most exposure to western Arizona. We will start near Dateland, head to north to Salome, then northwest to Lake Havasu, then north to Bullhead City, and finally east to Kingman. These are generally the lower elevation parts of the trail, and they are also more rain friendly in case we get some precipitation. There’s an Atlas with lots of information available and GPX coordinates too!

    1) Atlas Kindle: https://tinyurl.com/fj5tm6tu

    2) Atlas Hard Copy: https://tinyurl.com/38vozjp7

    3) GPX coordinates: https://tinyurl.com/14onfl6n

The main AZ Peace Trail is labeled AZPT 01-34 which correlates well in the Atlas telling you details about each of the 34 main sections. There’s also GPX coordinates for Bypasses (B 1-11), Connectors (C 1-21), and Trail Spurs (S 1-50) [These have less consistent correlation to the Atlas and are likely always changing]. Each of these trails also includes a difficulty rating. E 1-3 (Easy), M 1-3 (Moderate), and D 1-2 [Difficult].

Trip Details:(using "section numbers" based on GPX coordinates)

    - CB Radio:
We will be communicating while driving with CB radios. Please have one available for the trip! Here’s a nice handheld option that can plug into your cigarette lighter.

Uniden PRO501HH Pro-Series 40-Channel Portable Handheld CB Radio

    - AZ State Recreational Permit:
There’s some areas that are state trust land, so I recommend getting a recreational permit at the link below

    - Good Video/Website on essentially the trip we will be doing.

    - Friday Morning Start:

Let us all meet up at 10 AM on Friday at the Chevron gas station in Dateland AZ. Link below. Message me if you can’t meet Friday morning and need up meet up with us Friday evening and I’ll pick a spot.

    Chevron: https://goo.gl/maps/mHiEQNGMtzW3PJgY8

I don’t want to get us stuck on a daily schedule and allow us to cover as much ground as we want or take some detours to mines/sites as we feel like we want to in the moment. Most of the route is BLM land so we can just camp wherever we want along it.

    - Route:

    1) Take S-08 North

    2) AZPT12 North

    3) AZPT11 North

    4) AZPT 10 North

    5) Stop Salome AZ

    6) AZPTR 09 North

    7) C-04 North/West

    8) AZPT 27 North/West

    9) AZPT 28 North/West

    10) AZPT 29 North/West

    11) Stop Lake Havasu City

    12) AZPT 30 North

    13) AZPT 31 North

    14) AZPT 32 North

    15) Pitstop Bullhead City if we need gas

    16) AZPT 33 East

    17) AZPT 34 East

    18) Arrive Kingman

    FAQ:

    -
Will a stock Tacoma (any gen) be able to complete these trails?

We do recommend a 4 wheel drive variant and AT or MT types tires. A small lift and rock sliders would be helpful to avoid damage

If you have a stock Gen 3 off-road Tacoma (presuming 16 inch rims) and do not have the money for a lift, I recommend these tires. They’re 1 inch bigger in diameter and do not require a lift or cab mount chop (they're what I use right now).

Trying to decide if driving down Thursday night and finding a place to camp or leaving early Friday morning to head south.
@MR E30 You heading down Thursday or early Friday?

    Sixth,

Heading down on Thursday. I like to try and get as much 'camping' done as I can when committing to a trip. I'll plan on leaving around 9-11 am on Thursday as the area around Dateland will be cool to explore and it will be warm enough that camping will be very enjoyable.

Happy to cruise down together, though I am on the slower side, usually setting my CC to 65-70 and just relaxing. Not an 85+ mph kinda guy (in the Tacoma at least!).

I probably wont have my arb compressor mount in in time for the trip. Thinking of doing a temp portable mount in one of these https://www.calranch.com/ammo-crate-utility-box-8-deep-acr8.html
Just will have to loose do the wiring for the switch and make some extended power wires with clamps for power. May be jank for the few air ups but should work.

Does anybody bring dogs? My dog goes almost everywhere with, he's highly trained and makes friends. But my wife is out of town and I'll need to bring her dog as well, she's a decent dog and camps well, but not trained and not very friendly.
They say dogs reflect there owners :D

More of a pain and the only reason I am undecided about coming out to meet you guys.
