This is the easiest way. A smooth cut on the plastic rivets , make for a solid hold when you use a small self driving screw and a washer to refasten each cut rivet.

    @Proboyy,

What leather seats do you have? Katzkins? Those covers that start with a C? OEM? Sorry I am new/unfamiliar with these types of details and can tell from your pics.

(I am considering black Katz to replace my brand new Graphite cloth, and if I so that I definitely will do the arm rests. and would want to order remnant pieces)

IMG_20150624_082352016.jpgI went with Clazzio . I'm really impressed with the quality. People think they are factory leather seats. They fit like a tight glove. They cost me $465 through EBay. Have to order through the manufacture to get that deal.

Oh sorry, just saw you were asking about the arm rest material. I went down to the local fabric shop. I bought 1/2 of a linear yard, (that's a little more than what you will need for all four arm rests ) of a pho-Type leather. It was $7.99 for it, and don't forget the spray tack , they will have it there. I used the 3M brand of spray adhesive, to go over the original cloth. Just take a little time , fit your pieces to cover all corners. Cut your pieces more than you need, so you can cut the little extra before you reinstall

Just got the first one done. Learned some lessons for the next three. The first is the longest with the pealing of the original fabric and all.
Running to the hardware store for different screws maybe some washers too, just in case.
    Hoping the adhesive holds. :fingerscrossed:

Awesome. I know, the first one is the hardest. Then you become a pro! Post some pics, would love to see what you've done there. Yes, the adhesive is holding up perfectly. It should for ever probably.

Used two types of adhesive. Not totally happy with the DAP Contact Cement.
Having better luck with the Loctite spray adhesive - professional performance.

I tried something different for the back door. Didn't work.
Will be taking that one apart again to redo.

Too bad someone didn't get a nice template printed up. That first one is the bitchiest.

    Here are some pics
    Crappiest outcome to best outcome.

Adhesive didn't stick on this one. Used Dap contact cement.
Stuck well using Loctite but does have some wrinkles at the top.
Passenger side front. Third door done, came out the best.

Thanks for the write up @Proboyy Was very helpful.
I used a combination of razor blade and dremel to get the plastic welds apart. Worked well.
Did screw up one door with too long of screws. Ugh. May go back and repair those with a little heat later.

Awesome. Definitely doing this. Previous owner was a smoker so the clothe has burns and he put his elbow into the driver side so that's broken.
