i should actually be submitting the drawing to my cnc guy today on the front one... i'll have him make one up for me to test fit and then i can take some measurements for the middle skid that will connect the front and the tcase skids.... so with any luck they should be all ready to go by the end of the month at the latest....

I want all the skids once you have a front to rear, frame rail to frame rail skid setup.

I just noticed this. Any word on the shackle flip for a 6" lift? I like the idea of adding 1/2" or so of lift in the back. I am also interested in something to get rid of my blocks too. I just have the stock leaf pack with a some added leafs.

i've got the design/idea in my head on how to do it. it would be more costly than the kit i'm offering now for the rest of us however it would allow you to do away with the blocks. the hold up on it is finding someone with a 6" kit to come by and let me fab it up.....

guys, the 6" kit is really simple... buy ArmorTech Flip kit, buy alcan springs, and buy 1.5" XJ shackles..

    bada boom bada bing!

it doesn't make any sense performance wise to redo your rear suspension with the factory leaf pack.. its just not that great.

do it right, itll cost like $800 bucks total and perform way better than your blocks + stock springs.

edit, Fire, put together a 6" kit for sale here. Charge $1000 bucks, the lead time would be 3 weeks and you will have to ask the customer what weight he wants his springs rated ford. Then you build your flip kit, grab some xj shackles, order the alcans, and ship it out as a complete kit for 6" lift.

bada boom bada bing! life is great

Alcan 6" spring packs are longer than the stock pack. Once you put AT flip kit and xj shackles on, you will have a better ride, as well as tons more flex/compression. Right now your springs are being forced in their mounts in a U, whereas with the kit and longer shackles they get to sit more like a ) where they want to be

also, you gain about 1" of lift in the back.

well it would all depend on the specific setup on each truck. my idea for the 6" guys was to switch it over to a standard shackle like on the 1st gen tacos. this would make it really easy to get different length shackles to adjust and get things dialed in just right. ideally thats what i'd like to do with all of them, even the 3" kits. i think it would be an even better setup than what i offer now, with the ease of changing shackle lengths plus could have the option of doing a johnny joint as well to help prevent spring binding...
