the t-case skid is actually pretty heavy duty from them, i just cant justify replacing it at this time

I'd just be good n' careful about going whole hog on anything that's hanging you up on it.

all poo tcase skid really isn't that weak..it's a poor ass design with the drop down to go over the stock exhaust, but if you reroute your exhaust and chop off the hang down piece and weld a plate back on to make it flat, it's a solid piece...and if you can tie together ATO front and tranny to an all poo modified tcase skid, you'll have a solid setup...

but if you're buying all new anyway, idk why you wouldn't just get a full ATO setup...it's roughly the same price new and saves you from chopping off the tumor hanging down

EDIT:see that you already have it, so i'd reroute your exhaust, and chop off the tumor that hangs down..

So yeah, when it's completely redesigned, it's pretty good...

    Yeah, smooth bottom helps but:

    - I still don't trust 'em.
    - Definitely the skid that sees the most action. For some reason ToMoCo decided to put the t-case right at the truck's critical breakover location.

hahhahaha....exactly...ATO and bud builts got it right...screw the exhaust and make it flat...but if you already have the skid..cut it and patch it for a fraction of the extra cost it would take to sell the all poo and buy ato

don't get me wrong..i'm not saying all poo is a better one, just saying to save $$ there is a way to make the all poo work...then bulletproof the rest proper

i've gotten hung up and hit that spot numerous times and after getting hung up enough times i said F it and chopped it up..haha...wanted to sell and buy ato, but $$ was tight

Yeah, saves a few $$, because you're rerouting the exhaust with either option; cut and patch is probably < $100 from your local metal fab guy, labor included.

I know the feeling. Been trying to get 4.56 gears in this thing for like 9 months now...hoping upcoming tax return will finally solve that issue.
